Jobs
​The students learn about responsibility and serving by having a job in the classroom. Each week they will be assigned a job to help in the classroom. We have everything from Paper Passers to Carpet Crew.
Super Star
​Everyone will have the opportunity to be the Super Star Student for one week. They will make a poster to share with the class, sit in the Super Star chair, and read a special note from Mom and Dad.
Tooth Chart
​We keep track of teeth! Every time someone loses a tooth, we will put a tooth on our tooth chart.
Morning Meeting
After we have settled in and have finished our morning seatwork, we begin each day together at the carpet for Morning Meeting. We put up the new date, practice the days of the week, months of the year, counting and much more.
Mrs. Howard's Room 5
Our classroom is filled with activities that keep our kindergartners busy all day! These are just a few of the fun things we do in Room 5.
Centers
​The students get to focus on math, writing and letter learning skills during centers. Each day the students will rotate to a new center where they will complete a fun activity in a small group setting.
