Parents

Let parents bequeath to their children not riches, but the spirit of reverence.

Daily  Take-Home Folder

Everyday your child will bring home a folder.   It will contain a behavior calendar, completed school work, crafts, and any miscellaneous correspondence received on that day.

PLEASE check the folder EVERY night for completed work, and other important information.   All notes, permission slips, forms, etc., that you will send back to school should be put in the take-home folder.  Every morning the children will look for "important papers" in their take-home folder to put into Mrs. Howard's mailbox.  We will then distribute them where they need to be.  Please do NOT send items back to school in the Thursday Communicator.

Weekly Newsletter

Each week I send home Kindergarten Corner, our weekly newsletter.  It contains information about our week and what is coming up on our calendar.  This will be put into the Thursday Communicator, also known as the White Envelope.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to download the newsletter.

Thursday Communicator

Every Thursday, we will send home a large white envelope called the Thursday Communicator.  It will contain my weekly newsletter, homework, and any other important classroom documents.  If you did NOT sign up to be "paperless" with the office, this envelope will also contain documents that the school office will be sending out.  You can always view the weekly office communications by visiting the St. Gerard website.

If you are sending in a snack to celebrate your child's birthday, you may send something that is more of a treat.

NO NUTS PLEASE!
